Driving Lessons
EDT Lessons
EDT lessons are 12 one hour mandatory driving lessons designed to teach a learner driver the core skills required to drive safely on the road before you can be issued with an RSA driving test date.
Your Approved Driving Instructor will give you a logbook with your name, address, date of birth and learner permit driver number. You should bring this log book to each lesson and make sure all the appropriate sections are filled out after each lesson.
Pre-Test Lesson
Your Driving Test is around the corner, maybe days or even weeks. You’re not sure what to expect or if your driving is up to test standard.
I will take you through every step of what to expect on your driving test and what the tester will expect of you. We will cover parking your car at the test centre, meeting your tester, the oral test, the vehicle and technical checks.
We will then do the practical part of the test, recognising, assessing and correcting driving faults. We will practice the correct way to do the three manoeuvres – The Hill start, The Turnabout and The Reverse around the corner.
The lesson will be conducted in a relaxed and friendly manner. I am here to help you and answer any questions or concerns you may have about your driving test. At the end of the lesson I will provide you with excellent feedback and advice
